After over 65 hours in the car, amazing days with family and friends, a 6.5 hour flight, a few taxis, and a whole lot of fun, we are safe and sound in Ireland and out of COVID quarantine!
This town is as amazing as I remember it. Over the years, I've been here for work and for fun, and this town and this country have never ceased to amaze. It's been a quiet week as we waited for our turn at the PCR test, and after the tech probably touched the bank of my brain with the cotton swab, we all tested negative.
Since then, we have hit the town! First on the list, the Guinness Storehouse! In a word, phenomenal.
After that, Dublin Castle was clearly next on the list.
Seems like we found a long-term home in an area names Sandymount starting next month, so we shall see.
Needless to say, I'm happy.
