We spent our last few days in the US visiting the Conns in CT. They went above and beyond to make sure it was fun-filled and unforgettable. David and Sally went to an adventure park (zip lining etc) with Chris, Zach, and Hannah In the pouring rain…
while I visited with my friend Mike and we wandered around Amherst in the pouring rain. We were horrified to note that the “new“ science building from when we were there now looks like Chernobyl because it’s too old to save and there’s an amazing new science center.
Chris and Jen also rented a boat on beautiful Candlewood Lake and we had such fun! We all swam and brave folks jumped off Chicken Rock (and got free t-shirts to prove it, from some random dude on a boat nearby).
Finally, we enjoyed a lot of wonderful family time (a and Sally loved being with her beloved Farmor and spending time at Ambler Farm with her this morning while we packed up. The holiday BBQ worth the Robertson family last night was also a lot of fun, topped off by some fireworks that woke both Sally and Riley up.
